How I Met 迷 ‏

迷 (it is Mi in Chinese, in Japanese it is Mei. I will write 'Mi' as long as this blog runs) is Taiwanese Domo player. He is a bit introvert from my perspective, but we have common interest (like Pokémon and Domo, maybe other things too?). We first met when Kikurage decided all foreign player he knew to meet up in game last year. There were Wataru, Kikurage, me, Mi, and other one but he couldn't come because he's busy at the moment. Actually I followed Mi's twitter (https://twitter.com/miliangmu) for a long time before we had a meet up, and as you know, no conversations until the meet up.

So then, we met up in game just as planned. Mi has 2 characters dressed up as doctor and nurse. The doctor called 簫燁 (xiāo yè) and the nurse called 天空﹋微笑 (tiān kōng). His main chara is the doctor.

On that day we just fooled around and talked for a long time... We talked around the domo, how Mi's get the characters' name, how Softstar promoted Domo long time ago, and many more. I remember how he got the name 簫燁, because it's rhymed with 宵夜 (xiāo yè = supper), plus he was hungry. I laughed in real life back then. Then he explained each hanzi what do they mean:

燁 is bright, shiny meaning; 燁 = fabulous, magnificent, glorious.
It's a nice way to cover up the real intentions...

I can't remember what do we talked actually but I think it was a pleasant talk to know each others well. We still have conversations today although it is such a simple congratulations, RT, and such.

I forget to tell you guys that I also had an art trade with 迷 last February. The theme was Valentine's day.

Yeah, art nouveau. I like art nouveau much that I wanted to master them, but I had a struggle with the ornaments and the nature design, and how to pick the colors though. BUT I BELIEVE THIS TIME IT WAS BETTER THAN THE FIRST TIME I TRIED BEFORE. The hair, though, is quite detail, I am satisfied.

*ahem* Matry is so cute here! she even wears pink maid clothes! Everything's pink! So cute I want to pinch her cheeks!! >.<
